Process & Fees

What to expect

A clear four-stage process, transparent fees, and a report you can use at home and at school.

1

Initial consultation and consent

We begin by discussing your child’s developmental history, current concerns and assessment goals. The assessment process, fees and consent arrangements are explained.

2

Assessment

Your child completes a range of age-appropriate assessments based on the referral concerns. Relevant information may also be gathered from parents, teachers and other professionals, with consent.

3

Written report

Assessment findings are carefully interpreted and integrated into a comprehensive report, outlining your child’s strengths, areas of difficulty and recommendations.

4

Parent feedback

A feedback session is provided to explain the findings, discuss recommendations and answer any questions.

Timing

Report turnaround

Written reports are generally completed within 14–21 business days after all assessment sessions have been completed and the required information has been received.

More complex assessments may require up to 28 business days. We will advise you if additional time is needed.

Payment

Fees and payment arrangements

We aim to provide clear and transparent information about our fees before assessment begins. A written quotation and Service Agreement will be provided for review and signing before the assessment commences.

  • First instalment (50%) — payable before the first assessment appointment
  • Second instalment (50%) — payable on completion of the assessment, before the written report is released
  • Additional consultations or follow-up support may be available at $250 per hour, subject to availability and agreement
Funding

Medicare, private health insurance and NDIS

Our standard cognitive, learning difficulties and ADHD assessment packages are offered as privately funded services.

Medicare rebates are generally not available for these assessment packages. Some assessment services may qualify for funding under specific referral or eligibility arrangements.

Families are encouraged to check their eligibility with Medicare, their private health insurer or relevant funding provider before booking. We will provide clear information about applicable fees and funding arrangements before proceeding.
